After studying yoga since the late 1980′s, I began teaching in 2005. The things I like best about teaching yoga are helping students increase their sense of body awareness, strength, and flexible (in both body and mind). The added sense of peacefulness that comes with the practice of yoga is also quite satisfying.
What makes me different from other teachers is my practical approach to teaching and doing yoga. In addition, I try to bring a sense of humor and humility to the mat. One of my core values is to meet people wherever they are on their journey and encourage self care and personal discovery.
Being certified at Level One in the Iyengar Yoga method, I’m happy to continue learning both in workshops and on my own, without pursuing a higher level of certification.
