This summer I’m teaching “themed” classes on Friday. In August, all the poses will be with a backless folding chair. There are a few photos for some of the standing poses, which I hope will help with the set up.
Sit on chair with knees over ankles, palms pressed, center yourself
(Modified) Adho Mukha Svanasana with hands on the seat of the chair, hands on the back of the chair.
The next seven poses we did with the front foot on the bottom of the seat of the chair with the chair upside down. It is helpful for the back of the chair to be against the wall. It is also helpful to have an extra yoga mat or something non-skid for the bottom of the seat of the chair.
