This summer I’m teaching “themed” classes on Friday. This sequence used a Block for every pose. Next week, every pose will be done on the mat, not breaking the margins of the mat. In August, all the poses will be with a backless folding chair.

Half Pinchamyurasana
Baddha Konasana with blocks between feet
Trikonasana – use block for the down arm and rotate the arm bone in the socket so the fingers point to the back foot
Parsvakonasana – use block for the down arm and rotate the arm bone in the socket so the fingers point to the back foot
Parsvottanasana – hands on the block and rotate both arms so fingers point backwards
Virabhadrasana 1 with foam block (or Kleenex box) overhead
Setubandha
Supta Baddha Konasana with block between feet
Savasana with block between shins, legs strapped together
