I’m not sure which category gets more groans: backbends or forward bends.
Here’s this week’s sequence:
Swastikasana (simple cross legs) – lean left, lean right. Simple twist right, left
Paschimottanasana (taking “measurement” to see how this pose feels now. We’ll compare at the end of the class)
Cross legged forward bend – forward, right, left.
Pose of the Child – forward, right, left. Repeat staying low.
Sidhasana – forward bend. Second time, head to the floor, lifting buttocks as necessary and then, keeping head on the floor lower buttocks as much as possible
Crosslegged forward bend with the cross legs on a bolster or blanket
Sirsasana (rope downward facing dog if not doing headstand)
Salamba Sarvangasana (Legs up the was if not doing shoulderstand)
