Sequence for the week ending 2/17/2019

Prone backbends with some pincha mayurasana prep is our focus this week.

Swastikasana (sit cross legged)
Virasana (hero pose)
Adho mukha svanasana
supported savasana with block in the upper back to open the chest
Bhekasana (Frog pose)
Dhanurasana (Bow pose)
Adho mukha svanasana with headstand arms
Using a chair, sit on the floor with the upper back at the edge of the seat of the chair. Arch over the seat of the chair holding onto a strap looped over the back of the chair.
Kneeling in front of the chair, put elbows on the chair and draw hips back, elbows forward. Can be helpful to hold a block between the palms.
