It’s the middle of the summer and fairly warm so a good number of our poses were seated poses. Here’s the sequence:
Swastikasana (sit cross legged)
Virasana (or sit on your feet)
Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward Facing Dog)
Upa Vista Konasana (seated angle pose)
Baddha Konasana (bound angle pose – without the belt)
Dandasana (Staff pose)
Do the three poses above in quick succession, mixing up the order
Paripurna Navasana (boat pose)
Supta Padangustasana (supine hand to big toe pose)
Urdhva hastasana (four arm positions in upperward hand pose)
Gomukasana Arma (cow face pose)
Parsva Konasana (side angle pose, using what we learned in gomukasana)
Prasarita Paddotanasana (spread foot pose)
Uttanasana (Intense stretch pose)
Sirsasana (headstand – intermediate class only)
Salamba Sarvangasa or vipariti karani (shoulderstand/legs up the wall)
Savasana (corpse pose)
